Public Engagement

To gather customers’ views on the New York & New Jersey Subway Map, I interviewed riders at Fulton Street station in Manhattan.
On scene ahead of snow to show NJ Transit customers how frontline crews safeguard them. Since most bus stops are owned by cities and towns, I also encouraged customers to ask local officials to keep bus stops clear.
Speaking with reporters about customer experience enhancements, including new Tap & Go fare payment, redesigning website & app, and onboard engagement,
Updating customers on the root cause of rush hour delays. My explanation led media coverage, including an article with the headline Sorry for Monday’s Massive Delays; Now Get Us New Hudson Tunnel.
Addressing the Board of Commissioners of the Port Authority of NY & NJ, I highlighted transit improvements delivered in collaboration with PATH staff during my tenure as chair of PATH Riders Council.
